HomVEE’s annual review is on a temporary pause until fall 2026 while we update some of our review processes and procedures. During this temporary pause, we will not review new Track 1 models (those that are not yet determined by HomVEE to be evidence based). Report updates previously scheduled for Track 2 models (those that are already determined by HomVEE to be evidence based) will continue as scheduled. 

Check the “Announcements” section on our homepage in the coming months for opportunities to comment on the proposed new processes and procedures for reviewing Track 1 models.

HomVEE reviewed four Track 1 models (those that are not yet determined by HomVEE to be evidence based):  ABC-Early Childhood, Virginia’s Comprehensive Health Investment Project (CHIP), SafeCare Parent-Child Interaction (PCI) module, and Building Healthy Children (BHC). 

In addition, this release includes updated reviews of the following Track 2 models (those that are already determined by HomVEE to be evidence based): Play and Learning Strategies (PALS), Parents as Teachers (PAT), SafeCare, and ABC-Infant.
